THE TRIANGLE PROJECT COPENHAGEN CREW IN DOME OF VISIONS ON MAY 16TH

FRANKA - Just arrived from the Triangle adventures in New York and booked for several gigs around Denmark and in Sweden for the spring and summer. The above image is by Taylan Yilmaz who also did a video with FRANKA for one of her next releases.

The other video for the track called Franchise is done by New York director George Maracineanu, to the far right in the above image taken at the shoot. At Dome of Vision on May 16th, FRANKA will most likely bring some New York energy and who knows, maybe a new track?

M:O:T:U [Masters Of The Universe] The extravagant Synth Pop / Future Pop band M:O:T:U [Masters Of The Universe] originates from Denmark, and is ready to present their very exciting and new concept-album and live-show with a unique sound, to the world. A style you haven´t seen done in this way before.

M:O:T:U is a mixture between the music genre Synth Pop and Future Pop: Melodic, electronic with powerful vocals.

M:O:T:U (Masters Of The Universe) combines a number of different electronic styles and have created their own unique sound. Electro, ambient and techno-industrial elements are used in combination with a definite pop sensibility and a dark twist. The vocal is powerful and distinct with a range spanning from deep to high, soft to operatic.

Lucas Alexander (above right) is the lead singer and frontman with 3 main musicians behind him, lead by composer Claus Collstrup (above left), and also a backing vocalist.

The songs are mainly storytelling which illuminates everything between heaven and earth, hell and beyond – fairy-tales, conspiracy, sci-fi cinematic and supernatural phenomena.

The band´s sound is a mixture of the music of the future and the 1980´s synth new wave.

M:O:T:U has appeared on several TV shows, mainly in Denmark and is an experienced live band - with a stage show that includes strong colored lights, stage smoke and the sound in a grand presentation.

The double cello/vocal duo SOMA & LIL makes sounds, strings and horsehair vibrate to unrecognizability. Acoustic electro chock, comforting uncomfortability, beautiful ugliness.
They explore how the well known and the unheard melt together.

Tonny Flex started doing music in 2011. With his computer, a microphone and a kaosspad soundscapes began to take form. Soundscapes that often embody minimalistic passages, southing vocals, and sometimes chaotic sounds but mainly within a known form. Tonny Flex also combines different styles such as electronica with more hip-hop oriented beats that and finally adding bleak and melancholic lyrics and melodies. In this way Tonny Flex experiments with what the pop/popular music is.

On May 16th he will perform together with the duo Silencio Fobia.

Firoozeh Bazrafkan is a Danish Irianian born artist who grew up fighting off The Law of Jante with a clenched fist. Her work is online the most seen art in Denmark 2014, not by the art world, but the main stream audience who usually would not even look at or be interested in art. A recent realtime web reality show about her, broke one of the largest Danish Newspapers LIVE screening server, due to viewer storm. Her Islam critical art has been embraced by the Danish Right wing population, who follows her every move online on various social media platforms. She has a huge following of Danish men, who often comments on the shape and size of parts of her body.

She is often threatened by individuals who have been so provoked by her work, that they find a need to hurt her. She puts her neck out, but luckily she is a fierce woman who can stand her ground, a concept that is part of the performance aspect of her work. Firoozeh's defence of her work actually being art, is as big a part of the process in her work, as the work itself. It often deals with Firoozeh's need to push the envelope, just a little bit further. May it be about Islam, Christianity, Sexuality, moronic stand-up comedians, sexist men and life of a woman who has a sentence for blasphemy. An Iranian born Woman sentenced for blasphemy about Islam, in Denmark.

Christian Gade Bjerrum was born in Colombian, adopted and grew up in Denmark.
He graduated from The Acting School of Århus in 2009. However he chose not to continue his acting career for another 4 years. Instead he created the brand “Mr. Green” that combined environmental awareness with its alternative approach of communication and public interventions that generated great attention during the COP15 in Copenhagen. Furthermore Christian became a certified Bikram Yoga teacher and is soon about to attend an international 2-year leader course called CGT, based on Mayan Indian Earth Wisdom.

As a professional actor he has worked with great film directors (Lars von Trier, Ole Chr. Madsen) stage director Elisa Kragerup and Paolo Nani. He has worked in many different settings such as The Velvet State, DR2, shopping malls, on the street, in the forest and in countries such as Nigeria, Mexico, Colombia, Russia, United States, Spain, Germany and Denmark. In his artistic work, that most often goes beyond the conventions of traditional theatre, Christian always strives to combine his acting with his various talents of communication, yoga, Earth Wisdom, environmental activism and film.

Christian has created his first monologue, “Dad”, which is to be played at the CPH:STAGE festival in Copenhagen in June.

Torben Dalhof is the official Triangle Guru in Copenhagen, in the same way Neke Carson and Anton Perich is in New York. His wise words and good laugh keeps the energy high among the Triangles.

On May 16th at Dome of Visions, Torben will show his work that was done in collaboration with Fuglsang in 2012. The paintings has been re-designed as a Pyramid Tent by Tom from Sombra Projects, in the same way he did with Brendon Stuarts Pyramid Tent that has been shown in Roskilde 2013 and in New York April 2014.

Jesper Hyuk Larsen will show his photography that he did in New York in April. He came to the great city with a fresh eye and shot things a jaded New Yorker would never see. Jesper's Triangle Painting that he showed in New York, will also be exhibited, even if he gave it to DJ Triangle Lover for his birthday. Jesper came back to Copenhagen after New York with the energy that produced a wonderful solo exhibition at BLÅ Gallery in Copenhagen's somewhat still underground Nørrebro District.

Anne Gade Bjerrum, who happens to be the sister of Christian Gade Bjerrum will also join forces at Dome of Vision spreading the good word and keeping track of the tracks that needs to be kept track of.

Gry Worre Hallberg and Sisters Hope will grace the evening with their presence in, around and throughout the Dome of Visions on May 16th on Søren Kirkegaard's Space next to the Black Diamond.

DJ Triangle Lover (former DJ Whitelines) will on the wheels of steel play mostly black vinyls. Many of the tunes will be colorful and the beats rather funky.

It will take place at Dome of Visions
