The event at TBA Brooklyn will in the early evening have focus on the current situation in Turkey following the Gezi Resistance Movement in Istanbul. Film screenings* will be held with a follow-up panel debate with Turkish New York based artists, writers, journalists and activists. The panel debate will be hosted by Ahmet Bugdayci who is an editor and colommist of weekly Turkish paper Posta212 based in New York.

Danish Sound Artist Jacob Kirkegaard, who recently was in the first Sound Art Exhibition at MoMA, with one of his amazing sets.
The next live act is the up an coming Danish solo act FRANKA, who sings, plays various instruments, sequencers, pedals and samplers creating a powerful soundscape of pleasure and pain.
Bringing the crowd onto the dancefloor is DJ Taylan with a line-up of other Istanbul DJ legends. They will play a variety of house, techno, Turkish funk and beats that will be sure to light your fire.

The evening is presented by the Danish Beer Brand Carlsberg and there will also served cold ones as long as the supply lasts!
